Resolve supports construction businesses facing different challenges and at different stages of growth and project delivery — from contractors strengthening their internal systems, through to businesses navigating operational or project issues, pursuing larger opportunities or requiring additional capability on major commercial projects.
Different problems require different solutions. Resolve starts by understanding the situation first.
Bringing structure and professionalism to an existing documentation system.
Established contractor, ongoing consulting relationship
An established commercial flooring contractor had accumulated a substantial portfolio of company and project documentation, but inconsistent formatting, outdated information and ongoing builder requests were creating unnecessary administration and taking valuable time away from the business.
Resolve reviewed the existing portfolio, identified gaps and areas requiring redevelopment, and helped establish greater consistency across WHS documentation, SWMS, SOPs, QA, ITPs, warranties and O&M requirements. As the engagement developed, Resolve also became an ongoing external resource for project-specific requirements, documentation and practical construction support.
The contractor now has a more professional and manageable documentation system, greater confidence responding to builder requirements and access to Resolve for ongoing project-specific document development and support.
From an initial document review to an ongoing consulting relationship.
Building the systems to support the next stage of growth.
Gold Coast, transitioning to commercial work
A growing Gold Coast HVAC contractor was looking to move beyond predominantly domestic work and pursue larger commercial opportunities. When prospective projects began requiring formal WHS, SWMS, QA and company documentation, the business recognised that the systems behind its work had not yet caught up with where the company wanted to go.
Resolve reviewed the contractor’s operations and developed a structured core documentation suite including WHS management documentation, 12 activity-specific SWMS, six SOPs, toolbox processes, incident documentation, QA/ITP documentation and supporting company procedures. Resolve also provided consultation around implementation and maintenance.
The contractor now has a professional documentation foundation to support its transition into larger commercial work and greater confidence when responding to future tender, builder and project requirements.
Additional capability when major projects demand it.
Tier 1 commercial construction environments
An established architectural and structural steel contractor delivering packages within Tier 1 commercial construction environments required additional capability to respond to complex and sometimes time-critical project documentation requirements without continually drawing resources away from its internal delivery team.
Initially engaged to develop a detailed structural steel installation methodology involving crane operations and high-risk work, Resolve has since provided broader project and construction support across methodologies, QA and ITP documentation, O&M manuals, site audits, project status reporting, sequencing, documentation coordination, project closeout and ad hoc project requirements.
The contractor has access to an experienced external resource that understands both structural steel installation and the documentation expectations of major commercial projects — providing additional capability when workloads, deadlines or project requirements demand it.
The ongoing relationship provides the contractor with additional experienced capability that can be called on as project demands arise, without the requirement for another permanent internal resource.
You don’t always need another employee. You need the right capability at the right time.
One contractor needed to bring structure to existing systems.
Another needed to build the foundations required for growth.
Another already operated at a high level but needed additional experienced capability when project demands increased.
Other businesses may simply have a project, operational or management problem and need another experienced perspective on what to do next.
Resolve starts by understanding where the business is now, what’s creating the pressure and what needs to change.
You don’t need to know exactly what service you need before starting the conversation.
BRING US THE PROBLEM.
WE’LL HELP YOU WORK THROUGH IT.
